Sofia the capital of Bulgaria

The second oldest capital city in Europe with ancient history going back to Roman times, when it was called Serdica.

The ancients museums and churches, monuments and buildings taht are worth seeing.

Hram-pametnik Aleksander Nevski (St. Alexander Nevski Memorial Church), Tsurkva Sveta Sofia (Church of St. Sofia), Tsurkva Sveta Nedelya (Holy Sunday), Natsionalen Archeologicheski Musei (National Archaeological Museum) are the key attractions. The city centre boasts some of the finest historical architecture in Eastern Europe and such examples include the Sofia University and the old Dragalevtsi Monastery. Other significant attractions in Sofia are the city's vast array of galleries and museums such as the National History Museum which chronicles the history of the country, the Earth and Man Museum and the National Natural History Museum.

Other options are the Concert, Opera or Theatre Houses. Rock clubs or piano bars are also numerous. Disco fans will discover in Sofia fabulous dance and live music clubs. Night clubs have variety shows in the small hours. Sofia’s casinos don't close before dawn.
